Facility Use Policy

USC at The Stirling Primary Indoor Sports Centre

USC is fortunate to be associated with The Stirling Primary Indoor Sports Centre and have the use of its facility.  Coaches, swimmers, and parents are to follow the procedures listed below.

Drop off/ Pick up

1. Parents: You may park in Epsom Road Parking area and use side entrance gate, when dropping off or picking up swimmers or you may drop swimmers off at the front entrance of the School.  You may drop off swimmers fifteen minutes prior to the start of practice, but no earlier. Please make sure your child is picked up at least 15min after scheduled practice times.

Practice

1. Parents and Swimmers: You may enter the building through the front entrance (big glass sliding door).

2. Parents: Watching practice is not permitted due to congestion in the Pool area on route to the change rooms, and creating disturbance, distractions for swimmers and coaches. The first Monday of each month is available for Parents to watch practice.

3. Members may use the bathrooms to shower when needed.  Please assist in keeping the bathrooms clean.

4. Parents and Swimmers:  Food or drinks (other than the water bottle for training) are NOT allowed in the pool area or change rooms.

5. Swimmers are not allowed upstairs without a coach’s supervision.

6. Upstairs is used by coaches to conduct stretching and Dryland exercise’s when available.

7. All gymnastics equipment and cricket equipment upstairs is not allowed to be used.

8. No child is allowed to use the netball courts or school grounds as their own personal play ground. (No skateboards, no rugby boots on fields etc)

9. Swimmers: Be sure to leave the pool area and the change rooms as you found them. Be sure to turn off the showers, pick up after yourself and pick up and rubbish.

10. Swimmers: Use the same common courtesy you would use if you were a guest in someone else’s house.
